Re: Happenings of the Day

I hear you JK. I don't plan on using all 280 characters now, but I'm glad that I can finish a tweet without leaving a few words or punctuation out to complete my thoughts. Still, I wish they wouldn't have upgraded the limit.

Re: I gots me a SNES Classic!

Well, I'm now an owner of the SNES Classic, but it didn't happen like I thought it would. ToysRus announced they'd have SNES Classics in stock on the Friday of the week I posted that. Unwisely, I stayed up late the night before, had trouble getting up, but still arrived at the store about fifteen mi...

Re: Fixing the Forum and Asking for Donations

:) I had complete faith that Marc could figure this issue out. He's helped me with so many of my own computer issues in the past, so he knows his stuff. I'm glad that the forums are back to normal now, so we can add to our good group of forum users.

On Friday, I plan on trekking early to my local Toys R Us to get the SNES Classic. Here's hoping I can pick one up.

Re: Wherein I Rank the 20 Games on the SNES Classic

I'm not a fan of golf games, but the only exception of that is Kirby's Dream Course. It's different from any other golf game I've ever played, and uses Kirby's powers in an interesting way. Plus, I dig the music in the game. It would rank higher on my own list, but that's what's fun about lists as w...

Re: E3 2017 Discussion thread

Today I spent the day with family; but before I went for my visit I stopped at a Starbucks, had an iced latte, and watched the presentation live. Overall? I loved the presentation. When I heard the Metroid Prime music, I fanboyed about a bit. While the trailer (and Pokemon announcement) was just a "...

Re: Happenings of the Day

I'd suggest just writing for yourself. Don't write for an audience in mind, just do it for fun until you get your confidence back.

I know how you feel J.K.. I go through the same things with writing. Nice comic, btw, and I like the art style.

Re: Top 10 Stage 1 Themes (NES)

Nice list! I love reading top tens, and this is a good topic for one. The TMNT 2 one is an underrated favorite of mine. It fits perfectly with the tense showdown in the burning building. Here's a few favorites of mine from when I listened to game music while working: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...

Re: Happenings of the Day

I feel the same way about Zelda being overwhelming. There's just so much to explore, that I get distracted from reaching the next point of my quest. Next time I play, I think I'll work on focusing on the present quest and backtrack later.
