Re: Yooka-Laylee: Official Discussion Thread
As JK said, there are essentially two camps.
One, "This is just like BK and I love it!" or two, "This is just like BK and so it's underwhelming."
I'm sure I'll be in the former camp… but there are a few technical hurdles that probably should be gone because this ISN'T on the N64.
I've seen a ton of people on my Twitter feed 100%ing it. So it's popular I suppose.

If this gets cancelled for Switch, we riot. Agreed?

Agreed absolutely.

I'm in. That would be totally unacceptable. Especially since Wii U was the "lead platform" (yeah right).

I know, right?!? How crazy was that? A lead platform gets the shaft...that's nuts. I mean, Wii U projects getting cancelled isn't exactly news, but this seemed to be the exception. Ah, what could have been.
Oh well, I think this will be awesome on Switch. A portable, 3D Banjo-Kazooie-esque game that I can play anywhere? That is awesome sauce!

@ Grant Agreed. Now it's just a matter of waiting for it to happen!

I may just end up waiting for the Switch version as well. Besides I prefer the pro controller to the PS4 one anyway lol.

Got a Kickstarter update email. The good news is it MENTIONS the word "Switch" in the middle, in passing. The bad news is it's more about them working on updates for the already-released versions. :/
I left a message on the update asking for Switch info. If you backed them on Kickstarter, consider going over and leaving a comment about it too. Maybe if enough people do they will take it a bit more seriously.

Another month (give or take) goes by without a word on a release date. Do you all think they made good progress this month? How about today? Is the DLC more important? Let's take some bets on when it'll be Switch-bound… by the holidays?
