Here are the options for Wii U backers for Yooka Laylee

https://mynintendonews.com/2017/01/31/p ... u-backers/
1. Receive a PC version (plus the ToyBox Deluxe) in exchange – the default option for those who do not make a selection
2. Receive a code for a console version (PlayStation 4, Xbox One or Switch – Switch version to be distributed later)
3. Receive a physical copy of the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One versions
4. Receive a full refund
Also sounds more and more like the Switch version will only be digital and as they stated will be released sometime after the PS4/Xbox One versions.

I'll probably be moving mine to Switch and just waiting it out. I can't play this on Xbox… just feels wrong.

I'm unhappy about the Switch version being delayed. This is the sort of thing that makes me put off playing a game and then often skip it later because I already have other things to be playing when the delayed version comes out. :/

Can't we Stop 'N' Swop? Get a cartridge on the Switch without a hitch?

I want a physical copy, but the upgrade cost will make it quite expensive considering the amount I pledged. I'm tempted to get a refund and hopefully find it in-store. Will they be available in-store?
Yay!

From what I understand the physical copies will be in stores, yep. But the Switch version is, currently, digital only.

I would make sure that it is going to be in stores, though, because you don't want to miss a chance to own the disc that you want if it is a limited release! That said, here it is at Best Buy and you can pick it up in store after preordering. So my best guess is it is going to be in stores: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/yooka-layle ... Id=5712125

When this was announced, I thought it was going to be digital-only anyway, so I'm already prepared for that. So I won't have a problem getting the Switch digital version.

Downloaded this today. Will probably play it with wifey tomorrow. Little disappointed that the reviews have been mixed but that hasn't stopped me from loving a game before (Metroid Other M for one example).

Yeah the reviews are making me hesitate a bit. I really want it to be good though, I may still get it.
