RPG fans should definitely give this game a look. It's super-charming, and the graphics are GORGEOUS. I feel it has been a while since Capcom has made an RPG (they haven't made a Breath of Fire lately, have they?) so it's nice to see them give this genre a shot again.

Anyway, check out the demo! Especially if you're interested in the final game, since all the stuff you do in the demo can be carried over. No limits on how often you play the demo too, so that's a nice touch.

So yeah. That's my recommendation to y'all. Cheers!

Apparently, Capcom did release Breath of Fire 6 last year... in Japan.

Anyways, I never paid much attention to this game so I had no expectations going into the demo. The story seems pretty typical, but that's par for the course with these types of games. The art style is much, much better than the main MH games, they could certainly learn a thing or two from this one. The battles seem pretty simple in the demo, I'm sure things open up some more as you're able to collect more monsties in the full game but I doubt it ever gets too deep. The world seems like it could be decently large and contain a lot of things to discover, so the exploration is mainly where I'd have my fun with this title.

Overall, I like what I saw in the demo, and will probably scoop this up at some point.

Wow, there is a ton of stuff to do in this demo. Not sure I'll be able to finish it all by the time the full game comes out. (only a few more days!)

Yeah it was a mobile only pay as you go game. Disappointing.
You cannot grasp the true form of this post! Sorry.

That's not just disappointing...that's a freakin' travesty!

I wonder how much money it made them.

I think I'm gonna skip the MH Stories demo ..................... and just get the game! Eventually. Probably a good Christmas list item. Looks great. Honestly, going forward, I don't know if I'll ever get another flagship MH game. But, I think the Stories approach might be perfect for me.

Is this simply because you don't want to spend that kind of time in one game any more?

That's certainly part of it. But, after putting so much time into MH3 and MH3U, I can conclude that the flagship games have a combination of time, frustration, grinding, and difficulty, that is just not a good value proposition for me at this point. Know what I mean?
